What model of the PSP do you have? I would like to see people's responses on this.

EDIT: I voted, and I have a PSP Phat / PSP-1000 model.
 
i got the psp slim 2001 model
 
I have a ceramic white 1000 and a piano black 2001. The buttons on the 2001 PSP are really nice and feel real solid. I did buy a 3001 PSP, but it's not hackable, so I returned it and bought the 2001.
 
Metallic Blue 1000, Third Last Major production
 
2 x Phats Ta-082 and Ta-081

1 x Slim Ta-085 by choice.

-idstorage is differerent.

-uses firmware for that specific region

- X and O as the confirm button are sometimes swapped depending on the region.

- different colored models

That's all I can say about this matter. :D

yes your right the X and O confirm buttons are swapped , and the white import was 1.50 sony firmware ,also no go messenger on the import one unless you use recovery menu ,

go messenger going , going , almost gone , go messenger gone

You can get TV (1seg) on on the Psp-1000 (JPN), and you can get Playstation Spot on JPN psp's.

I got an email from Gomessenger, all stop on the 31.3.2009.

:w00t: I like Silver PSPs, the fingerprints don't show on them. If only there were Silver PSP-1000 models also available in America. *Sigh*

Definitely. I'm surprised that most members have a PSP Phat, including myself. Mine is still holding in there, but like you said about silver, I wish the PSP Phat came in different colors. Besides, I'm far too lazy to buy custom faceplates.
