So, this forum is just right for me. I'm "lost in the world of homebrew".

I owned a PSP way back when it dropped. Then, the LCD broke and it was shelved. Now, I'm on the lookout for another. I'm searching for one second hand.

So far, I've found two -

  • A 3004 Slim - looks just about new, but I haven't checked in person. It's running fw 5.55. Seller is asking for 145

The PSP 3004 is a dead loss, the 3000's are non-downgradeable. and for a 1000. €150 is mad! you should be paying 70 or less NOT 150! Check around game stores, the will sell 1000's for about €60-70. seriously you can get a 1000 dead chaep now and theres no chance of getting an unhackabe motherboard. plus a pandora battery is dirt cheap from dealextreme.com

hope this helps!

all phats, most slims up to mid 2009 - After things get very tricky.

Some 3000 can run a CFE which is as good as it gets for now.

Cheapest way to a psp that can be hacked is to buy a damaged one and repair, otherwise many sellers will appply a premium for a 'hackable' psp which i am guessing you have found one such seller.

Check the link in my sig for more info on what can and cannot :)
