You still need a magic memory stick with either one. The service tool is probably the better buy.
 
pandora really isnt that hard to make

i made 1 without buying a spare batt or spare mem
 
Got my PSP's FW to 4.01 M33 finaly :) however im waitin for my new memory stick to arrive in the mail and ive used my old 1GB to make the magic memory stick, was gonna test a game on it but always says corupt data when i try to use a game of that sick, im guessin its to do with how its formated or somethin so i have to wait lol
