What's the difference between 2.51 to 5.03GEN?

I would like to know also maybe its better for me to do the GEN thingy because when i try to use 2.51 it says i dont have a psp slim altough i have a Ta 088 v3 Thanks in advance

I would recommend the GEN that is coming.It will have alot less bugs than the ones by Xenogears and Becaus5.

GEN-A works ONLY on 300X PSPs. If u try to run it on a 200X (ta-088v3),it won't work and you won't to be able to use Xenogears' cfwe either.

But I've heard that if you already got CFE installed in flash, you won't be able to run 5.03GEN. Mine showed as corrupted data.

only for 3k unless they have an update i've haven't seen yet.

tested it on a cleanly flashed TA-85 PSP with 5.0 OFW -> 5.03 OFW -> ChicHENR2 -> GEN-A -> shutsdown

tested it on a TA-85 before the TA-88v3 to see if the CFW 2.51 has an affect on the GEN-A realese, but as you can see, i've haven't yet installed CFWe 2.51 on that TA-85 and still black screen and shutsdown. Next tried teh 2.51 CFWe and works fine.

I tried to run GEN-A on a classmate's 2000 (pspIdent says it has 88v3) and the screen went black and the psp shut down.Then I downloaded cfwe,tried to run it on the same psp and...surprise,surprise...it worked.That didn't seem false to me...

PS: m0skit0,have u tried running GEN-A on a 2000? Cuz you seem kinda certain that it works...
