Wifi Controller Problem

Now this may sound like one of the most noobish things to ask for,

but i tried setting up WiFiController v0.4.4 adn damn it doesnt work!

I've set the IP in the wifi.cfg file correctly and the whole PC-end setup has been done correctly too... (using PPJoy)

then i launch Wificontroller.exe

However, when i go to game controllers in control panel, it doesn't detect me pressing the button...

any ideas what can be wrong?

I hate saying this..................Wifi is on and working correctly.
