"vloader"? What should that be?

And, no, you can't just "load an exploit onto the PSP"....

Man, common sense is dying out these days, yes?
Are you kids really THAT desperate for piracy?

the vloader is a flash file that can be downloaded frm pspicy.com it allows you to download youtube videos onto your psp in mp4 format directly
cant it be edited to some how run the tiff Exploit on OFW above 5.03
ITS JUST A THOUGHT Hellcat

And a silly thought at that. Leave the thinking to people that can make things happen :sneaky2:

lol wow, okay. But instead of flaming, I'll tell you why that isn't possible at all and sounds rather foolish.

A flash file is played in the web browser and has absolutely no relation to the .tiff exploit or can it be edited to. The only thing it might be useful for is downloading a .tiff file on a vulnerable firmware, then launch it. Also, why would it be that youtube program? mp4 videos don't have anything to do with .tiff. Think about it.

All of these fake exploit threads should be closed to maintain MforMatures good reputation with exploit discovery and not cause a flood of noobs to come here wanting to download games.

He opened the fucking image file.

I was going to post something along these lines, but I think the above quote better reflects how I feel

You know, I was thinking of trying HEN for myself. There is a few exploits compatible with 5.51 and 5.55 that I might try. I also wanted to know if there was any documentation on the GTA exploit? I just wanted a crash course on how it all worked. It doesn't hurt to learn or try hopefully :)

oh and sorry, totally irrelevant to this topic.

Oh boy, how often did I read this the last time.... "I want a crash course in making a HEN of CFW...."

*lol* you kids are way too desperate for your piracy, just drop it, seriously.

If you're serious about making a HEN, do some quallity research, it's not as easy as you might think, there is no "enable HEN mode" function you're just calling....

I hope this wasn't pointed at me? It was an idea in my head that maybe myself could learn the concept so that if hypothetically a exploit did come along I could analyze it and understand it more. Don't hate on the kids who have a yearning for learning information or want to "try" :(

I didn't say it was going to be easy nor hard. I've been learning about the PSP for over 3 years now, with some programming knowledge and MIPS why not take a shot at it?

oh edit: P.s Why must you insist that everything related to HEN or CFW is towards piracy? I think the lamers or noobs must have beaten it into your brain :P

Well, serious people don't just talk about making a HEN and asking, without even started on researching, for support. If you really want to know more about it, search, reverse and practice. Everyone had to start like this.
About the piracy thing: There happend to much in the past, which can't be forget.

THAT can be easiely explained!

Everyone who wants HEN / CFW for homebrew purpose is perfectly set with 5.00m33, 5.03-ChickHEN or 5.50gen.

Anyone else, whining for a 6.xx CFW can only have piracy in mind, 'cause else the above mentioned options would already be all he needs.

Yes, of course, I'd like a 6.20-HEN that maybe even works on my PSPgo, it would be nice, yes.
But there is no real "need" since most of my HB stuff I do on 4.01-M33 or sometimes on 5.50-GEN.

... Yes, But, what will someone do if they have a PSP 3000 or 2000 88v3 with >5.03 fw? ;)

That group represents a very small portion of homebrew users. Not really enough justification to continue developing CFW. PSP-3000 owners are lucky they have homebrew at all.

Possibly if Sony introduce some must have feature in OFW then it might be worth making another CFW, but apart from that I see no point.. I'm still running 5.00 M33 and am very content with it.

Tough luck.
Should get a used PSP then ;)

But I get your point, but honestly, how many of those are really mainly interested in homebrew?

Really, I'd like to be proven wrong, but I doubt it'll happen....

The concept is simple:
Exploit = (usually using buffer overflow or "tricky" input) to redirect the execution of the program to your code.
HEN/CFW patch the kernel to "enhance" its function.

You should know that if you are not a close friend of a dev, no one will tell you the specifics, reverse the code to understand how it works.

I'm sorry, I don't think I was being clear. My intention was to create a eloader, I really don't want to move onto the kernel just yet. With limited resources, no documentation and a semi-source from n00b81, it's hard to understand how it sort of works.
