Wow, a Gay Pride parade in Kansas? Now that's what I'm fuckin' talking about. Enough of having this shit in San Francisco, and New York. Tons of gay people live in those places. It's not that shocking.

I wish I could be there, just to see the reaction of all the religious douche bags.

I'm religious and you don't see my complaining about how gays have too many rights. Most of us don't care, at all.

Stop stereotyping, as you said, "douchebag".

I'm sure by religious douchebags he meant religous people that are douchebags, not religious people in general.

If you're not one of the morons who believes in supressing other's rights, then I clearly wasn't talking about you.

True, not all religious people hold these ridiculous believes, but it's only because of relgion that anybody does have these beliefs.

I'm sorry, I understand that there are benign uses of religion, but as long as it's still used to justify opression and violence, it shouldn't get a free pass.

If you still need a 2000 year old book, and an imaginary man in the sky to know not to kill somebody, or not to steal, then you need to pull your ass out of the dark ages. We've refined our society enough to know what parts of the bible were right (Most of the 10 commandments) and which part weren't (stoning people), and we've turned them into law. We also have the police, and a the Judicial system, so we no longer need the threat of being sent to hell by God. The idea of a God and the bible are now antiquated, so if you choose to believe it, fine, but only when those who do use it don't hold back the rest of society.
