HELP!!!!! i have done all the instructions but when i start the update from the games menu it says "The game could not be started. (80020148)" wat should i do??!! HELP ME!!!!! PLZ!

you can't run this if your on Official Firmware

you need Service Mode Battery aka Pandora Battery & magic memory stick to convert your

Official Firmware PSP to Custom Firmware there is no other way

just go to Recovery Menu (Shut Down PSP then Hold Rtrigger Then Power On)

navigate to Advanced > then go to Format flash1 and reset settings

It deleted my Pandora Battery

I just installed 4.01 and when i went to install the M33-2 update it keeps on saying "Game Could Not Be Started". I was previously running 3.71 M33-3 and i could play all my emulators and go to recovery mode. I cant now, can i please get help!!!!

you need pandora kit to convert to CFW..

Hi, I have version 3.90 official sony firmwire (psp slim & lite) and I have have read a lot about custom firmware and how to do it, but my question is how I can update to version 4.01 M33? can I simply download ant install 'PSP Custom Firmware 4.01 M33' or do I have to do other things first?

I am not familiar with this and I would like to do this correctly without bricking my psp or something like that.

Make sure your Game folder kernel is set to 3.52 in recovery. Also try formatting the memory stick.
