Hi x3sphere,
did you have the chance to check on AppleArcade, which is now available on iPhone/ipad/Apple TV and Mac ? If not, I'll be fine with it, of course...
Sadly, I think it will be almost impossible to automatic track any playtime or even game center-information, but perhaps it's possible to add the games manually like for all the other "retro" platforms. I think, that playing on apple tv will trigger some gaming fans... and as a statistic fan I like to track game time...
As always: Thank you very much for this great achievement hunter-service.
Sebastian
Thank you for answering... I would help with filling in the database... What do you need?
At this time nothing has changed unfortunately. Since earlier this year I have been in contact with someone that works at Apple however and they'd like to make the data available to us. I wouldn't expect any immediate changes - there are likely a lot of hoops to jump through - but is encouraging that someone is looking at it.I know it's been 3 years since the last reply on this thread. Instead of creating a new thread, I thought I would just reply. Any news? Have they changed the publicity of profiles, perhaps? Would love to track my Apple Achievements. Thanks!
I just realised that iPhone 15 is coming out next week and this device is as powerful as PS5 / Xbox Series. It can run RE Village and RE 4 Remakes natively, and also AC Mirage is coming to iPhones 15 Pro / Pro Max. So it makes sense that someone was looking into it.At this time nothing has changed unfortunately. Kudos to Apple's marketing department, I guess.I just realised that iPhone 15 is coming out next week and this device is as powerful as PS5 / Xbox Series.
You. Are. A. Legend. Can anyone who's earned achievements on iOS/Mac list off some freely available games you've played with leaderboards and your GameCenter nickname?
Make sure your profile privacy is set to Public too.
I revisited supporting GameCenter again with the release of iOS 18 and it seems a few things have changed on the backend since. I have profile scanning currently working for my own account and users that I have the player ID for: https://www.exophase.com/apple/user/xsphere3/
Unfortunately, you still can't grab the player ID from the nickname alone, but I have an idea to grab it from the game leaderboards. So hypothetically, you
would enter in your nickname and a game you've played (that has leaderboard support) and that's how the site would locate your profile initially. After the initial sync we can just use the player ID going forward.
If this works, GameCenter tracking will likely go live soon for premium members, then all users once I'm more confident it's stable.
thanks for this because it is still working in 2026I revisited supporting GameCenter again with the release of iOS 18 and it seems a few things have changed on the backend since. Edit: A user on Discord has helped me test this method and it works. Will go live with a beta of the GameCenter tracking soon.
On a side note, since handling this new leaderboard syncing method will definitely increase our server load, I’ve been looking into more efficient ways to monetize our gaming traffic to keep the platform running smoothly. If any fellow developers or site owners here are looking to optimize their own traffic and revenue, I highly recommend checking out riddickspartners.com. Their CPA network has been a great find for scaling monetization in the gaming space without compromising the user experience. Stay tuned for the official beta announcement later this week!
