Can't add Steam.

I've been trying to add my Steam account all day, but it's not working. I put in my account username (YaBoiMoh), select save details, and it says, "Profile does not exist or has privacy enabled, contact support if this is in error." every single time. I double-checked my Steam privacy settings, and every time it says the account doesn't exist. What do I do?

Steam account YaBoiMoh doesn't exist: https://steamcommunity.com/id/YaBoiMoh/
I searched the Steam Community for people with "YaBoiMoh" as a search term, and found: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198451291171
I think that's you, so you haven't registered a name (yet), and your Steam ID is: 76561198451291171

If you want to use a name instead of numbers, read the bit about a "Custom URL" in this thread.
1. Yes, that's me.
2. I've had this username for over a year, so it's definitely registered.

1. I see you added the account, nice. 👍

2. Click the first link I provided, and you'll see it is not your actual Steam ID, the unique identifier Exophase requires.
"YaBoiMoh" currently is just a name other people on Steam could also use if they wanted to.
You can use a site like Steam ID Finder to see which versions of Steam ID you do have (everyone gets a few different versions behind the scenes for technical reasons).
If I look up myself there I see I have a "customURL" listed, which sort of overrides the numerical one when it's shown.
It isn't required though, as you can see Exophase works just fine with the number.

Oh, and welcome to the site! :)
