Its a usb 2.0 MIDI controller. (should be usb 2.0 compliant but as of yet is untested)
Features:
2/3 buttons depending on firmware settings.
USB bootloader for standalone programming / firmware updates
SPI micro sd card reader (fat32)
2 main faders (one for each channel)
One cross fader
6 nobs hi mid low trims x 2
It is a mixer designed to be ultra compact and portable for Virtual DJ , the two buttons are for syncing the beats within the program but this is compatable with any thing that accepts midi input.
The micro sd reader is composited into the midi controller firmware , that way you can goto a friends house with only the mixer and have your music and virtual dj or other software IN the mixer ( kinda an onboard harddrive)
Nice yeah im working on the first draft of the firmware now. Then me and a beta tester are gonna see about getting it mac compatible thus far i have not been able to verify that it is working with mac , atleast not with out a driver. Supposedly it should be.
Yeah im thinking the finished product should be right around 100 $ , but currently the board is costing me 5 times what it should, due to quanity.
So far i have the pots working, the power system, 2 of 3 buttons, trying to work the bugs out . About to leave for work but shortly here I will make a little video of it working etc.
1. Bootloader (allows firmware updates after the device is sold)
2. Usb Audio device , subclass MIDI
3. Microsd reader (i still havent figured out if this part is going to work.
2 and 3 will be active during normal operation.
1 will only be active when your upgrading to enter there is a hardware key much like the psp service mode.
Ok a video.....
yes the cross fader is backwards , its one line of code to flip it , just forgot to do it.
This would have been an entry for the Make.com halloween contest but after reading the rules I realized that idea conflicted with me releasing the pics / info here first, All my releases will always be posted here first.
If any one from Make sees this feel free to post this. It would make my day no pun intended.
