General Feedback

Also liking the buttons and new faces in the reply box.

What's with the 'Quote Message in Reply' uncheckable box at the bottom of the page in the quickreply box?
That's standard for VB installs with quick reply. While looking through a thread, each post has "Quote", "Multi-Quote", and "Quick Reply" buttons. Rather than hit quote, you can hit quick reply which will drop you down to the box and if you check off that check box it will include the quote for you.

M for Mature Forums - FAQ: Reading and Posting Messages

Bug with disabling stats on Safari ( I know). It showed it was disabled earlier and didn't come up at the index until just now... It comes up but doesn't load... And I can't hide it. If I go to the link to disable, it brings me to the FAQ about smilies... :o

It was all a conspiracy to get you guys to read the FAQ (...on smilies, but still the FAQ). But yea, seriously, we've fixed that I hope :)

This thread serves the purpose of any, and all, site/forum related feedback? Why not just create a separate forum specifically for discussing various user submitted suggestions?

Anyway, I like how this site is shaping up gg mfm contributors ;D

I'm not really sure we have one thread as opposed to multiple topics, but the M for Mature Help section (the one this thread is in) would serve as the suggestions section anyway and as far as I can see, it would be just as effective in one thread as it would be in multiple.

Is there any reason why you'd prefer suggestions to be one thread per?

Glad you like the community and site. We aim to please! :)

After some discussion with the staff, we've decided to have one thread per suggestion/feedback so that we may better address and organise the feedback we receive. Also, this allows us to ensure that everyone's feedback receives as much attention as we can give them.

Thanks for the suggestion :)

The forum is currently closed as we are still working on it. It should be open soon. For reference, here is my other post on this:

Well, I have good news. If you have not noticed already, we've started to set up a forum specifically for programming for the developers or prospective developers in our community.

The forum is currently called Division by Zero :p but that can easily be changed. We currently have a few prefixes set up and a sweet looking syntax highlighter.

Organisation will probably be as follows: prefixes for each major/popular language and then tags for the target platform.

At the time of posting, the forums are closed but we'll open them soon enough. While you're waiting though, take a look at the prefixes, the syntax highlighter and your new section and let us know what you think :)
