Minecraft

It's back now. I had to restart it. The server software for Minecraft is rather buggy, seems to crash every day or so.
 
I cant play at all, seems I'm not the only one. I keep getting a java.Socket exception. I can connect just fine but blocks will just reappear if I attempt to destroy them and then the connection will die.
 
I'm not sure how to fix your problem (yet?), but I'm pretty sure the server works fine for everyone else. Ipaq is on it right now along with x3sphere and myself.
 
I don't know if it's a problem on my end, but the last time I was on, whenever I would connect the game would slow down steadily to the point of freezing. I eventually gave up and didn't reconnect, so I don't know if it still persists.
 
You likely connected around a time when we had the server running process intensive tasks. It should be fine now and has been for a while.

Network cards are such a racket, just like RAID cards. Classic corporate price gouging, since usually only corporates buy them. You could get a whole new motherboard for the same cost of a PCIe NIC. Make sure you get a board with one of the PCIe (not PCI) Marvel controllers.
 
Just got a job at Target, gotta wait 2 weeks for my paycheck but I am so going to buy this.
I'm having fun just from looking at your guys pictures you post xD I know how lame that sounds -.-

I am now inclined to double post as I don't want to be a suspicious one time poster but of course I won't. I only found this forum through Minecraft and haven't had a full look around yet. I would like to join this server; my name is Cartopher.
