I have no idea if you guys know about the concurrent hacks for Ocarina of Time, so if you're not up to scratch let me know, but here's a couple of videos showing off custom maps for Ocarina of Time.
The custom maps are created in any 3D modelling tool, and then converted to the Wavefront OBJ format, which then gets converted using a python script into a readable ZMAP format for Ocarina of Time. The ZMAP file is then directly injected into the ROM (generally replacing another map) which is then playable on any decent emulator.
