I have to agree with this, actually. The rapid increase in idiots and spam has been irritating me for a while now, and I don't see a quick enough moderation.

I love this community and this site, and I have to agree. We really do need more rules and regulations if we want to succeed.

There are so many posts that I see that I can't report because the person wasn't technically breaking the rules. But nonetheless, they are lowering the quality of the site by posting all kinds of shit.

While I have not been a member of this site for very long, I too see this problem.
An example would be (obviously) the PSP Homebrew subforum. It needs a massive amount of cleaning (i.e. deleting threads). And not to mention all the semingly 5yo posters. Remember the Xbox banwave?

But yes you're right things have gone to shit and we have noticed.

Don't think these things are ignored though. Some users in particular need sorting out, some have already been contacted but the majority are fine.

With the PSP being hacked and Davee choosing here to release it we were bound to end up with the idiots that can't type a full sentence show up (this is not me speaking on behalf of everyone here just myself). There's nothing we can do about that. A lot of people speak English as a second language, so if their sentence doesn't make perfect sense, it doesn't matter.

Personally I think our rules are fine. We have all the bases covered so make sure to report anything that breaks them. To clarify what rules exactly do you think need making stricter? There's a lot of No on here already:

- Stay on Topic!
- No Porn!
- No Piracy linking!
- No Spam
- No Flaming
- No Advertising
- No Racism
- Use Search

Like I said. Report posts that break the rules. All reports are recorded backstage so if things aren't being reviewed we can see this and question why there were mods on at the time that did nothing.

It's difficult to moderate or control this. People have a goal in mind, to view the site for a reason, to post for a reason, to be here for a reason. My reason to be here to both educate, and be educated, and enjoy myself when possible. It's people with only the goal of entertainment in mind that is ruling currently.
