Tiff Exploit - HEN Information

Anyone knows which release of JellyCar or DGEN emulator he used ? The HEN Works sometime for me, just open the ChickHEN photo folder and wait, don't scroll down. Sometime it's work, sometime not : but my homebrews don't work at all.

Does testing different homebrews just to see if they work or by experimenting using chickhen gives any chances of breacking the psp? or is sure to experiment running homebrews?

PS: i know this hen rlease doesnt work now, just wondering

I know HEN is not working right now but I have a question.

Does anybody know how to use Davees system version spoofer??I followed the instructions with no luck.

If so could some one post how?

the version davee sent is not the wrong one or a buggy one...

it works perfectly with my 300x..

what i did:

1. reformat(back up all files)
2. restore factory settings
3. go to photo xmd
4. click chickenHen
5. wait for all for gif to load (egg pics)
6. display gets scramble
7. boots up :D
8. HELLO SONY!
 
irekski, the problem isnt the tiff part, it's the homebrew part....

on a side note, I could NOT get it to run originally, eventually decided it was my Mem Stick, and it was. I was using a lexar, 1 gb. switched to a sony stick at it worked on the first try.

anybody have similar problems?
 
dling homebrews now... ill post vids in youtube later :)...
 
I tried it probably 20 times without success. Once I removed my umd it worked on the second or third try, after that I've got it to run twice more (between failures) while my umd drive was open.
I'm on a 3001 by the way
 
Nice, the HEN is ON!!

I'll test tomorrow, I need to upgrade to 5.0X, maybe 5.03, but I'll try on 5.00 or 5.02 first =)

I'll post the results here tomorrow.

In 4.20 it didn't work, just rebooted.

I dont understand how doing the steps you provided would make homebrew work lol.

I could be wrong but your steps will only load the HEN not make the homebrew run.Post your videos to correct me :D.
 
Nope its a bug apparently :(.
 
I dont even know why I am still online,considering this bug will be fixed tommorow hopefully and not tonight.
