Did you run "Hello World" before?
If no, try to find the method that works for you (seems different for every user).

I'll set up one later, but for now, just place the ChickHEN folder from the respective folder for the PSP you have into your PSP/PHOTO directory, then place the h.bin file into the root of your memory stick.

and I realley don't know how in God's name I can get the HEN to run

I have the same problem. Every time i go to mi picture folder, the psp freeze, then after 5 second, the psp shutdown but not restart

*changed the character set to "multilingual latin 1 (850)"
*restarted the PSP

i was in the same position as you untill i changed the character set to multilingual latin 1. Through settings => System settings => Character Set.

Then i ran hen accordingly by putting h.bin in root of my sony memory card, and the ChickHEN files in PSP\PHOTO. Powered down my psp (Hold for awhile to make sure its not in sleep) Then powered up went to photos memory card and opened ChickHEN folder, left it for a few seconds and it opened in 5.03 Hen mode. Hope it helps Now i get it running 100% *oh and i set psp to default settings and formated my memory card prior to doing all that* **Also i have an official Sony memory card**

nope it's still crashing...i think i'll format the card
