Tiff Exploit - HEN Information

Hi. I'm new here. My first post. But I've been following this topic since it started.

First off Davee rocks!!

I had a hard time getting the chickHEN to start with the regular instructions, but now I got it to work, so I want to add to the tips to help ppl who cannot even start the HEN:

- PSP 3001
- tiff file from Davee's official release (slim ver)
- h.bin file from some dude on page 372 of this thread
- emptied out all pics from the PSP/PHOTO folder
- copy tiff file ONLY (one file only) into PSP/PHOTO folder
- goto PHOTO folder using psp and then it automatically restarted

Try again. I tried 24 times and it was good only once
 
what homebrew can work? psptube and gpsp work for me :) i can play pokemon i regret i sold my Nintendo DS and can't sell my pokemon card :(
 
how rude of me, i haven't even said thanks to the devs who made this HEN possible. THANKS TEAM TYPHOON, DAVEE and that dude who uploaded the working bin file. You guys rock!!!
 
The way is get it to work is:
1)Put the ChickHen folder in MS0:/PSP/PHOTO
have no other pic's in MS0:/PSP/PHOTO or
ms0:/PICTURES.

2)in xmb's goto settings/system settings/restore default setting
say yes, yes. The psp will reboot.

3) Goto photo/memorystick, and press X
Then press X on the ChickHen folder.

4 Then do NOTHING!! Don't move up or down,

O and THANKS to Daveee and everyone that helped on ChickHen!!
just open the ChickHen folder and wait.

It screen should flash green, and reboot into ChickHen.
 
ok i use gpsp 26843_gpSPmod20090413 (his full name in archive) and psptube work when it want :(
actually i play pokemon saphir i like it so much my gba was a good console

Apologies that my first post is a request for assistance, guys.

Just wondering if anyone with a PSP2003 has had any success running the homebrew enabler? If so, could you post your technique?

I've tried it a bunch of times, using varying techniques (amount of photos in the folder, the two variations on the h.bin etc) and I've not been able to get the PSP to boot into the HEN environment yet.

I'm sure I'm not the only person to ask this, but any help would be appreciated.

Do you not think its worth making a new post for Hombrew that works with new HEN but without others posting, how does it work. how do i get HEN to work and other usless posts lmao. So its just a list of working HEN HOMEBREW.

mine works everytime, i put chickHEN folder in pics folder and new h.bin in root then when i open chickHEN folder i go down 1 image before the top image loads then wen it loads go down 1 again and repeat til i get the tiff works 100% for me , and when i try any other way it just freezes
 
my psp is a 2000 TA-88v2, and yes I get to work most all time
read my other post like 6 posts back^^
You can also install cfw with hellcats recovery flasher if your psp
is a TA-88v2. This will not work with TA-88v3 or psp 3000.
 
Anybody can help me? I have a problem! When the image .tiff dashes the psp says that the memory system is insufficient! How can it be done?

How bizarre. I try that exact same method (repeatedly, believe me!) and all it does is power down after a few seconds whilst making a sort of... popping..sound. Then I have to switch it back on manually and attempt to repeat.
Perhaps I should just be relaxing and waiting for R2 by Team Typhoon..
