ir shel is basically a replacement for the xmb you can do everthing from it. i'll explin how to use it tommorow...need sleep
 
hey Davee if your going to release a update could you maybe add a recovery menu
without the flash features?

i understand that if Dark-Alex wont let you use his files you may not be able to do this but i just thought it would be cool
 
how did u guys get irshell working on psp...i tried so much stuff no luck, says incorrect firmware version...
 
I still have problems using ChicHEN R2. I go to my photos folder and open the chichen folder and wait just as it says in read me file but, XMB stops responding and PSP turns off!!
I have tried a few tricks and when I open the photos folder I press the circle button on ChicHEN folder and quickly press the d-pad left and do this several times for the chichen to load.
Who knows whats my problem? Please help me.
And by the way I have PSP-3000.

Do you get this right after going into HEN or when you try some homebrew?
i read somewhere in this post that next davee is working on fixing a bug which was related to higher memory usage caused by hen in 3000s i guess..

i have 3002 but i have not experienced this problem yet ..

i thought he said in 2000s not 3000s sinc ein deadualsx64 beta 2 it forces more memory since it sees the slim as a slim but it dosnt see 3000 as a slim or something like that
anyways so heres something i was thinking about i havnt heard anyone get irshell working on psp 3000 but ive heard many get it working on 2000 so maby its because irshell 5.0 says in the description it is only slim/lite compadible so maby we should try a lower version of irshell that works on phat and slim and try that on 3Ks Oh also PSPrx may be the hope of a early plugins for some of us. It lets you open or use a plugin from seplugins though idk much about it i tried it with remotejoylite and i got the plugin to run remote joy but as soon as i use home butten to leave and then go back games folder remote joy stops running. though i can record remote joy working on it but it will look very fake 1: because i dont have a camera so i could only record whats on computer and 2: because the screens on the hoebrew application could be easily reproduced to make it look like its working (my longest post here so far):mellow:

try putting a wallpaper or theme on you psp... it worked on me...

Gamestop added a new bundle, as I said before I'm sure this will come with 5.50 firmware as the hannah montana bundle has high rate of failure as quote above says but I'm sure the new bundle will sell as it is a PSP Dissidia Bundle not sure about how the Assassin's Creed one will sell though. Good bye HEN on those systems.
