no one ever said it was going to load CFW. in fact the opposite was posted for the 3000

This could / can lead to custom firmware, but on the PSP-1000 and [non TA-088 v3] PSP-2000 models.
 
I helped someone d/g their v2.8 psp recently using the old 2.8 tiff exploit, and I found that by modifying the Hen's files I could get some plugins like joysens to load whenever the hen is loaded.
When it is activated the system version# says 2.80 HEN; it could load homebrew games, emulators etc, so it felt alot like custom firmware by itself.
But that's old stuff, and the HEN was 1.5 kernel based I think, I'm curious to see how this new one will work.
 
hey heres something ive been woundering did davee realease the psp 1000 (phat) HEN ? i heard rumors he did but im not sure if it was released or not im asking since my friend wants to use HEN and he has a 1000 + i was alrdy woundering about this

He didn't. Otherwise, it would be everywhere by now.

Besides is there not HEN for the older psp models??
 
Well ppl on the DA forums are losing faith in this HEN which is sad.But I thin k the only reason they are losing faith is because a release date was set then was not followed through.
 
ic well if they allready had a hen for older modules why is it that the davees hen is just now coming out i would have thought they would have tried it awhile ago like back in december when ppl where very desperate for cfw or HEN

An exploit was just found besides the Gripshift one. The code between HEN versions is different as well. It's not just a copy and paste.

Davee never set a release date. He just had a date he wanted to meet, but never said it was coming directly on that date. Just tell them that, and they should stop complaining.

Thats because this HEN is for the newer PSP 3000 models which currently are not running CFW or HEN.But Davee is working on it and it should be released soon.But we need to have faith in him.

ive got faith ive waited since october 24th (yes i remember when i bought it :P) im sure as hell not about to lose patenice over just a few days or another few weeks
 
Just like me Wolf I bought my 3000 way back and had faith it would be hacked.But I lost faith in it after the Gripshift HEN was not released.But now this HEN(coming) as sparked my hopes once more.

lol i never trusted the gripshift hen since i didnt feel like paying a 100$ for a game that sucks and it didnt even have its hen out so i just didnt mess with it
on topic: so the HEN were waiting on that davee is trying to fix the bugs ... well davee said something about having to use therie (aww my spelling sucks lol) for something why would he need to do that

The Gripshift Eloader was actually being worked on. It's just that this came first.
