Tiff Exploit - HEN Information

I was able to get exploit to work just by going into pictures. I would say it worked about 75% of the time with no crash. I didn't even had to scroll up and down. I did as others suggested reset to default and slowly made my way over to pictures pressed x and there it went (most of the time).

I put tiff in folder, then put 7-8 jpgs out of folder.

Scroll down as fast as possible, wait for loading of the last image to finish, scroll up as fast as possible. I've gotten 100% so far.
 
Hey

Got the hello tiff to work on my psp3003 with 5.03.

Kept on crashing with 8 jpgs + the tiff, deleted a few of the jpgs and it worked first time.

Good luck with getting it out guys :)
 
eh, i don't think that it matters if we get the tiff working.....the HEN will work 100% of the time thanks to davee debugging and I'm sure he will write a readme to tell us exactly how to get it working.

How are we (wait, what do you mean 'we') supposed to get the HEN working 100% of the time if the TIFF doesn't work 100% of the time?

True, but it was just nice to prove the concept to myself.

I guess part of the debugging will be getting the TIFF more reliable

Obviously if we have SO many successes then it works....i don't have to go through the headache of getting it just right so it'll work on my psp.....it works, I get it. Woo Hoo!!! :huh:

The only thing that's happening with every individual saying "ZOMG!! It worked on my psp" is filling up the thread with nonsense.

whered you hear that? i've been keeping up to date but i didnt here anything about that + davees gone on that expodition thingy so how could there be anything majorly awsome coming tomorow? anyways i guess ill sleep go to school then check back to see if theres a answer
 
Hmm... I don't even want to bother with this anymore really. I'm perfectly fine with my old PSP Phat for now. And I have been far too lazy to really start to get interested in all of this HEN and TIFF stuff. So whatever happens, happens.

alright.then why did you come into this thread??LOL.

There are many people who have the PSP3000 or just have interests in it here.So we are all waiting patiently~

I just can't imagine the pain that the PSP 3000 users must be feeling. Waiting all this time... Ouch.

I'm still confused about this exploit though, let me re-read all this.

In my opinion, the PSP scene is dying away. So as you guys all wait, I will be playing with my jailbroken iPod Touch! ;)

to be honest i don't really care :p i already got a homebrew PSP xD just would be great get to crack open another new PSP :cool:

Yeah you are right.Sometimes the waiting is really suffering.

But different persons make different choices.It depends on your own decision.:D

And I will waiting for the homebrew one 88v3 and 90v2 with others.

In my opinion,I also think the PSP scene is dying away.But I will never say I am suffering the pain from PSP.Although have I had one psp3000 from the day SONY official issued it till now.

No! The PSP scene not dying the way to an Hackebal Psp is harder and thats all sony is not stupid.:) Give the scene more time :D

I think the PSP was a prliminary console to test the security and then find ways they can prevent hacker from hacker future consoles. The PSP2 might not be so hackable.
