Also why the hell are you kids buying PSP's in the first place if you cannot buy games, all systems are like that. Yes, the PSP does have higher prices for games than other portable systems, just don't buy one in the first place until you can afford games (and most of the PSP's "good games" are well below the price of when they came out).

I don't think anyone has "loads of PSP games" - those that do often are much older and have a stable job where they can afford games.

Because you do not understand consumers and marketing. It's the desire for a PSP that drive them to get a PSP first, thinking that they could slowly save up for games. However, it is a wishful thinking.

"Why buy PSP 3000 if you cannot afford to buy games" is logically true, however NOT in the real world, because you can see many instances of such, even on this forum alone.

I second that. You're god damn right, i had my psp for barely five months now and still i don't own a single umd yet, what can you expect from a citizen of a 3rd world like me? And they should consider the global financial crisis that we are encountering right now.

The poster above will probably just use it for music and videos/wifi. This is the second usage of PSP which consumers want on the PSP when thinking of getting a PSP at first. Since the first usuage (playing games), is not achived due to no iso loader, he/she wont go crazy. He'll just use the "second usage" for now. Thus a little regretted to get the PSP in the first place.





For me:

I only watch videos (bigger screen) or listen to music (i didnt had a mp3 player prior of owning a PSP or DS) using my PSP on the go. My DS is used to play my games now.

Yup. Please read my previous post on how "you cant force consumers to buy games because you dont add in a ISO Loader"

Wishful thinking, but also a way to stop piracy if you wish. But nonetheless, consumers will just not buy UMDs. That is how it is.

Well I'm pretty sure you didn't. ISO will be completely capable of running on the HEN. It's up to SOMEONE else to put it out and it's upto you to put it on your PSP.

Yeah yeah.. Davee already mentioned he would put security measures on the HEN. Tell me who is capable of putting a ISO loader now when the creator is spending so much time on adding the security measures.

I really wish people would stop crying over the no ISO/CSO loader function.Davee did not say it would be impossible to run a ISO/CSO loader .He said he would not put the function in himself,meaning there will be one for his HEN in the future.

You can't tell us what the affect of not including an ISO loader is, you're speculation is poor in my opinion. It will not kill the PSP because the majority of people who have purchased the PSP-2000 and PSP-3000 (and even the PSP in general) have no idea you can use it to pirate games. The PSP will not suffer anymore than it is now because of HEN's restrictions.

People have been doing fine without ISO loading (most PSP-2000 and 3000 users have to buy games)

completely agree i had no idea i could pirate games on my psp or ds untell i read about flash cards + i bought my 3000 10 days after the american release and i had no idea it could'nt be hacked (i didnt know normal could either though) i did know about homebrew stuff though. The psp isn't going to die soon i mean look at the games coming out this year like FF dissida, or KH birth by sleep and other less popular but still good titles coming out this year
EDIT: also if you cant afford psp games its called do some work like maby mow lawns if your under 16 or get a small job like fast food if your 16+

exactly. almost no console has/can die from piracy. i personally. have 14 psp games. that i bought, sure a ISO loader would be cool. but in my opinion. if you can afford to buy the psp...you can easily afford to buy the games. even if you have to save! theres no good reason for piracy. i hear the excuse "but i cant afford it" all the time. if you cant afford it, don't get it! if you cant afford the huge LCD TV at walmart. you dont go steal it do you? if you dont have the money. you cant have it. the only reason i want it is so i can cram all my UMD disks onto my single 8GB stick. so i dont have to change the disks all the time. but because of all the people that download the games. things like this happen. some realy cool developer comes alot and makes a HEN with out the loader. because he has the same views as i do.

well actully its been confirmed since hmm 1 or 2 years ago that the game is in devolopment and is currently set for a release some time around agaust and december they have demo videos from i think it was some game conviention in japan during october from last year on youtube and they have trailers as well it actully had a realese for aguast however i think they ran into devoloping problems anyways you can find all the info @ Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep you can also find the link to the offical japanese site if you can read it you can find out more info for yourself as well as the KH 358/2 data which is set for a ds realese on the 30th of may
