well of coarse there are. there has never (that i know of) been a console that has had more then 50% hacked. a majority of PSP owners dont even know that they can hack it. and sony does care. about both the people with and without a PSP. hands down, they dont want piracy. (i agree) thats why thay made the 3000. they claimed it had better graphics. when it was mostly a security change. they are just strongly against what they cant make money from.

IE homebrew. if they could make money off of it. we wouldnt need a HEN like this. but then again thats just my opinion. i could always be wrong.

I wonder if the HEN can be written to the F0. If so, I needn't run the TIFF exploit again and again. Further more, DA might release a TIMEMACHINE based CFW which have the M33 installed on the memory stick. It's a good vision.

I don't think it's possible due to pre-IPL issues... But I maybe wrong..

They could make money off Homebrew if they really wanted too.. just like how Apple is with the iPhone App store.

If this was possible.. then we'd just have CFW not bother with time machine :p

And im pretty sure it can't be saved to F0 as everything is sig checked on OFW.
 
Sure you can write it to the flash0... but you still need to execute the initial code using an exploit. On the PSP-3000/TA-088v3 this must be done with the TIFF exploit, while on earlier models there was an exploit in the pre-IPL allowing custom firmwares to execute it on every boot without user input. And as you're still going to need the TIFF exploit each time you want to run homebrew enabler, there is no point in flashing the files.

been said many times, by the time you can boot homebrew the pre-ipl can't be reached anymore.

but there's a different team working on the pre-ipl using more drastic matters(i think they physically open up the chips to read the content) and they are making some good progress.

Yes it is. It is classed as adapting copyright but I don't release or include any reversed content and it is used for personal study.

i wanna say in your face to my friend who works in sony and said PSP3k is impossible to hack :D

im sure with davees HEN m33 DA and others will work with the CFW (hopefully)... but if they dont no worries :D.. hen is still there lol

is this true every time you shut off the PSP the PSP goes back to normal?

Have you already done your works with the HEN ?
You know, i'm going on a school trip and without your app i won't be able to talk to my mates and family beacuse of no pc-psp messanger apps.
Even the skype don't support it...

There are a lot of these, who just want to play free games. But i think there are more people like me, that need the HEN just to use it with certain apps.
With HEN/CFW PSP is more than a game console ;)

Yes, you need to restart the HEN everytime you shut off your PSP, but not when in sleep mode

use the school trip of yours to past the time and stop thinking bout when will hen arrive. the lesser you wait the faster it arrives :D
