Tiff Exploit - HEN Information

iv been reading this thread since lastnight do you know if i will be able to use and alternative browser like opera or anything similer on the psp now because of the hen i got the new slim
 
One question: Will launching the HEN be more stable? Currently, about 5/6 tries just locks my XMB and doesn't launch the Hello World program. I don't know if this is because the binary (h.bin) is unstable or if the tiff file is unstable, but when the HEN will be released, will it run every time? Thanks.

Also, no one answered my question: if we want to use this exploit, we are stuck in 5.03, right? We can't upgrade to anything? Thanks for any answers.

You can launch homebrew apps and things so I assume you could convert to cfw through a dongrader or something, and then download a custom browser

I am wondering myself

You won't be able to downgrade unless you're using an older motherboard that can already be downgraded by Pandora.

That answers my question aswell because I heard that if you have a pandorable downgradable psp you can use a homebrew app that will "pandorarize?!!" your psps in order to downgrade.

so my psp 1003 will be ok?

It will come out when it is done, Davee should never have said "by Tuesday" :o

It's being worked on right now, just have patience and catch some sleep if you need it.

Whilst the excitement is understandable...If the constant prodding is irritating a great deal of people just reading through the topic, just think how Davee must feel. Whether it comes out in 2 hours, 2 days or 2 weeks it's a massive accomplishment! Far better to be grateful that someone's done the impossible than to pester him....if you're that desperate go out and learn to make a HEN yourself!
 
just like every new year's eve, tons of people stand under big ben and watch it countdown to the new year....I have the same feeling...we are just lack of some fireworks...:P

Since the Pandora Apps are kernel mode, you will have to wait until the developers of those applications will convert them over for compatibility with the 5.03 kernel. So once the converted applications are released, bingo - the Pandora's Battery method on your PSP-1000 and [non TA-088 V3] PSP-2000.
 
How about stability of the release?Will it run every time or we must try it several times to run?How many hours exactly remain?

I agree, I noticed davee was looking at this thread, and watching all the people nagging him :) Its prob not helpin, If you are reading this davee, you have done an awesome job and it dnt matter when its released its just an amazing achievement, When it does come it will be like new year :)
