Yes but I believe that the exploit and Hen are intended for 5.00 to 5.03 FWs
agentnnc have you ever run homebrew on a PSP? Your posts suggest you haven't.
At this point all we know is there could be compatibility issues; there's nothing to say which homebrew games, apps, or emulators will or will not work. It can be assumed that 1.5 kernel specific homebrew won't work but beyond that we will have to wait and see.

I'm new to the PSP scene, the information I have is whatever I've seen on previous posts. I appologise for misinformation. I'll just keep my mouth shut and ask questions instead.
I guess this is probably not the case since no one knows (maybe except for some hackers) that there is any difference of kernel modes between 3.XX n 5.XX.

I finally tried to run the tiff exploit...i put the slim file in the photo folder and the bin in the main folder...however all it ever does is when i try to view my pics (its the only one there), the psp freezes and turns off...is this the many tries matiaz spoke about or am i supposed to be able to select it?

same here...I tried almost 100 times with psp1k,2k,3k with ofw 5.03....
formated and changed ms, restored default settings, made subfolder for tiff...all the solutions i could find didnt work for my psps.
don't worry...
this exploit is very unstable, you can try 1 more time or 30 more times. i have the psp 3000, and the 1st run of the exploit in my psp was at 10 times!!!
don't worry, be patient an run the exploit one more time...
edit: and if your psp is slim, you must have 9 pictures in the ms0:/psp/photo directory: 8 random photos and the tiff exploit. erase all the photos of the ms0:/picture directory.

When the XMB "just freezes" try moving the files around. Add more files, delete some files. Delete the tiff file and re add it. Add directories etc. At some point it will work (as in black screen with maybe some writings). At that point stop moving files around and just run it over and over, you will get a perfect run at some point.
Let's just hope the final release will be a bit more stable.
