Why davee doesnt notice us of his progress?

He has no reason to update you on every little thing he does. I posted an update last night (last night my time) about the progress of the exploit.

We will be deleting off-topic and repetitive posts as they pop up

thank for the quinck answer...it's only just a curiosity to see the code behind this thing.. So how can i reverse it?

If I use PCspim (I used it to learn assebler at school) i can't open the file h.bin.. is there a way to convert it to be used by PCspim or to be open to show assembly code??

Take your time to get it right guys.

For every 1 on here pestering for the release, there are plenty of others who appreciate the time & effort that has gone into this release and are willing to wait as long as it takes for a quality release :)

I think ollydbg is the best correct me if im wrong.

Lets keep on topic :)

I agree quality is better than a quick release.

I heard (not sure if its true) but apparently the recent Sony update (5.50) completely removed support for the TIFF image format... (IE: no more libtiff), i bet their next step is tight constraints on game developers as to how they save/load gamesaves, they will probably all have to use a standard method that has been approved by Sony.

Obviously tired of being owned by these...

On the topic of progress: I think Davee will probably still be at school right now, its only 14:26 GMT.. I'm sure that when he gets home he'll do whatever needs to be done, either that or he'll vege out and watch some TV (Like people do), time doesn't really matter. It's coming... :)

I too agree that it is much better to allow them time to iron out all the kinks. Alot of people are worried about what this will do to their psp and I like to think that Davee is doing everything he can to give us a quality product. That being said....i do also feel that at some point in time there will be a release and there will still be bugs in it and I'm sure Davee will update accordingly. It's a good thing what he's doing here so lets have some patience. :D

Davee's HEN (probably) won't write to the flash (It'll patch the memory), so there is no danger of a brick there, the danger is that someone uses his HEN, then does something stupid using other homebrew (EG: TA-088v3/TA-090v2 - HEN > HellCats Flasher > Brick)... This isn't really Davee's responsibility, he and others will make it clear not to be a moron while using his HEN.

davee, take a break , drink a cup of coffee, the hen is not important than your life, (well im goin to sleep, i had a tired day assembling my schoolwork)

No, but according to Archaemic they removed support for extra "non displayable" information (the tiff exploit was using a flaw in the way they handled extra alpha layers).

quoting myself for history books (when I'll be dead and famous):

HOWEVER, the image doesn't display correctly on windows for example, so it definitely has something special (the "unassoc-alpha" extra sample value maybe ?)

It needs restore sceIoAssign to write to flash0 in this HEN. Old flashers won't do.

Can this will be helpful with pre-IPL ?
Why now nobody has interest with it ?
or decompile pre-IPL and with it we made a Pandora battery is illegal?
