@ilostchild & Alien :
I know what you're saying. I'm sure though that there will be a FAQ/Readme telling you what you can and cannot do with the HEN! Of course there will always be bright sparks who will try to install CFW but I think thats perfectly normal! :p

Lol yea i agree there will be a readme on what you can do and not do, but there is someone who will discard the readme, and do it anyway lol

...Which is why Davee is putting defenses on the Flash, as not to allow 88v3 and 90v2 users to install CFW.Am I right or not?

I believe both of you are correct. Still can't recall where I read it though :(

This thread, I'm sure.Us nolifers have time to go through 150 pages (+ the previous thread) instead of asking dumb questions xD

What ya' talking about? I do not understand anything about this but from what I have read it's a question of the so called IPL security something which hasn't been decrypted on the PSP-3000, so trying to flashing it with a custom firmware will result in a bricked PSP.

Exactly! We think (hope) there will be enough security/defenses to prevent folks from trying to flash a CFW to the PSP3K. Only tyme will tell ;)

I don't really think this is Davee/Team Typhoon's problem, but hey, if they want to protect people from themselves then whatever...

what security would they use to stop CFW being installed does it have anything to to with the M33 modules not being in the hen?

Perhaps it would simply check if your PSP has the 88v3 or the 90v2 motherboard and block all homebrew from accessing the Flash.

lol I don't care much for then hen anymore since PSX and backupps are disabled...mario and sonic games will provide temporary relief but that's it.

PSX and backups are not disabled. They are just simply not supported.

If Davee doesn't feel like taking the extra time to code an ISO loader, then who cares. Besides, this has been the plan the entire time, this is not new news. He has in no way intentionally blocked them - he is just simply not coding one himself.

We have gone over this same question over and over again even though the answer for this particular question is made quite clear in the FAQ. Read it. If any further ISO/PSX whining and ungratefulness is to take place in here, it'll simply be deleted ;)
