Sorry I forgot to specify. I have about four brothers, two which have one Phat PSP and the other have a PSP Slim and Lite. I tested it on the Phat so sorry about that. I'll get the results for the Slim tomorrow because my brother is using it as a mp3 player at the moment.

On Topic:
Although there is no release date I hope it gets released bug-free but hopes can always be crushed or something like that.
 
Jeerum, How about trying it out this way.

1. Play any songs in the MUSIC section.
2. Press Home or Select and go to PHOTO section.
3. Go to the Hello World Tiff file. It will do either two things.
3a. It will turn off your PSP
or
3b. It will show up.
4. If it's 3a try again until it hits step 3b. Then proceed to step 5.
5. If it shows up correctly you should be able to view the Tiff without starting the Hello World exploit.
6. Then set it up as your wallpaper and see what happens after your reboot your PSP.

Do not worry this will not brick your PSP. It will simply turn off or you will see the Hello World exploit. Tell me the results if anyone decides to do it. Remember this is your choice. You can simply try it or do not try it.
 
you want the image of the TIFF to set as your back ground?
 
I'm kinda new at this.
the Exploit can be unstable at times. Let's say you set the tiff as your wallpaper. Now it is possible that the HEN may run at startup. It's is also possible that the PSP will crash everytime you start up.
**Hell this isn't my idea but it kind of makes you wonder :)
I may be right and I may be wrong! :D
 
Anything that's set as PSP wallpaper gets saved into the psp's flash1:/vsh/theme/ folder as 'wallpaper.bmp'. So it will no longer be a tif and definitely won't exploit or crash the psp on boot-up.

Who are you directing your question to? If it's me then I would not want a Tiff file as my background as I already have a wallpaper. If it's somebody else then I'm sorry.

On Topic:
HEN will be a dream come true for me once it's released since I miss using the homebrew that developers released for the community.
 
yes, if system don`t convert it to jpg or bmp. Or system don't crash :) Hello world have safety to coming out on it.

well heres the thing...it loads on the load of the thumb nail. so you cant set it as your background. because it will load the hello world before you can set it. even if you could. it would be a bad idea. because lets say you use the .tiff from the HEN. then even after the HEN has restarted the system. it will try to load it again. thus sending your PSP into a reboot-loop....bad idea...

and thats only if it works....
