Also, to those still experiencing problems: mine has *never* worked with the USB cable still plugged in. Don't see how it could affect it, but it's a fact. I'm running PSP2003, btw.

i installed that.. it says "the game cannot be started. the data is corrupted."

any ideas?
 
You guy downloaded the recent version upgraded to 5.03 and followed the steps right?

Er. Yes. I think I sent you to the wrong link, there (had WAY too many windows open..farming emulators).

I'm 90% certain that this is it. Having checked my memstick, it says it's a mod version, and this link points to a modded version.

Hmmmm I still want to find a way to spoof the frimware version :).
 
alright, the directions davee provided arent doing it for me... can someone explain what the ChickHENa-d.gif images are for? also, do we need the thumbs.db file?
 
Hey all, glad to know this got released, congratz to the team :)

I been trying to find out an answer to my simple question, but couldn't find it :(, anyways.

I dont want 'break' my PSP :P, so I though better ask first, do I realy need upgrade my PSP 3000 from 4.20 to 5.03 and then use this program, or can I use it even be in 4.20 ?

No you need 5.03.

Here is what I did. It works 99% of the time for me, provided I do a hard Reboot before (off for 15 sec). A reset to the psp defaults IS in order before you try it out.

I had ten jpgs in my photo folder and another folder with 9 jpgs in it, named "games". To make the hen work, I had to put the TIFF in it's own folder, "ChickHen" and remove all the dummy pictures that comes with it. Now every time I open the Photo Section in XMB, the Hen kicks in.

I have a PSP3001 and I use a Photofast microSD adaptor.
 
hen works great with every bit of brew ive downloaded and eloader 1.0 works great also with the older brew

and i have around 35 jpegs of wrigley field in my picture folder

Ok? So, put a sperate folder in the Pics folder other than the HEN folder?
 
every1's saying different methods of launching them. i'm doing it completely right man.. i've read posts since page 380+ and trying every single weird method everyone is using to get HEN running. and theres still some out there whos the same as me.. i am sure they tried every possible way
