Changing the HEN name should not affect online usage(PSN Store for example) at all ;).

Succees!!!! those two blank spaces are R2.My HEN now says just Spyro and no R2.

the problem with my psp is that with hen enabled, it says (whenever i try to log in) please try again later, the server might be down for maintenance.
without HEN (5.03regular, no hack), it says a update is required.

i figured that the name could be doing somehing
 
The server could be down for maitnence :(.Probably since the 5.50 release they need to update their server.

But whatever you do do not update to 5.50 frimware.It is evil and will not allow you to use this very lovely HEN(Spyro in my case ;)).

I was thinking the same, it could be down for mainenance, but it wont allow me to play online in resistance retribution, nor allow me to use remote play via the internet. but i can do everything perfectly on my ps3 :huh:

and how did your test go with the empty spaces ps what hex editor are you using?

Sorry for the late reply I was in the bath -.-".But yes I was succesful,now my HEN version just says Spyro without R2 attached :).

Hex Editor=Xv132
 
I just inserted 00(number 0) into each blank space.Or you could just erase those blank spaces :)
 
Ok um on the left side there should be numbers and letters and on the right side there should look like jiberish and letters and numbers.
 
Dont worry im a nice person :).

Ok what I did is scroll all the way to the bottom,the scroll up slowly until you see something that look like 5.0..3.C.h.i.c.k.H.E.N(right side of screen).
