There's several threads about this in here.

This isn't anything new.

Not to mention it doesn't really work all that well since you can't even return to the xmb or launch homebrew. I also am led to believe that it doesn't even work on ChickHEN since it uses M33 modules anyways, although I don't know if this is true or not.

Maybe, but not in the usual way; if ChickHEN R3 really does support plugins and has better m33 compatibility, we might be able to take the 'leda.prx' from an m33 psp's flash0:/kd/ folder, and load it as a plugin from the memorystick in 5.03 HEN...just an idea, but it sounds possible anyway :blush:

I just tested this theory and found that is possible to launch some 1.5 kernel homebrew with 'leda.prx' on the memorystick as game.txt seplugin with a fresh 5.00m33 firmware installed; I have no way of knowing if it will work the same under ChickHEN R3 though...

Idea alert

hey guys, couldn't we use that plugin app things in irshell, then switch to another app while its till running. could this allow you use the plugin in the background, while runnin' another app?

Ok fine i will post what i think. Your English sucks and you should get a English teacher, even using Google translator would be better then what you wrote. that is if English is not your first language, if it is God Help us all.

from reading your post it has told me davee is going to have a child wow i thought he was a guy. lol no offense davee

why the hell would you want a buggy hen it would be POINTLESS. Just wait till it is ready better late then Buggy

I don't think he wants a buggy r3 released now, he is saying that there should be no public mention of new versions, until it is released.

The only thing that blocked flash writing is Nandguard but that is an optional choice (selected from a VSH Menu in R3).
 
That NAND Guard thing sounds quite sweet, actually!

And apps aware of ChickHEN will be able to propperly detect and react if the flash access is disabled from what I heared :)
