What Albums Did You Listen To Today?

Rebirth - Lil Wayne

As I Lay Dying - The Powerless Rise

Son of Aurelius - The Farthest Reaches

Black Sabbath - Heaven & Hell

Copeland - You Are My Sunshine

Attack Attack! - Attack Attack!

Album just showed up on What, and it's pretty good. Very different from Someday Came Suddenly.

I'm at work right now, doing the morning shift at my dads restaurant so I always put something mellow on, I listened to Jack Johnson's In Between Dreams and now I'm listening to Sam Robert's We Were Born In a Flame, great album.

Audioslave's Self-Titled Album
Weezer - The Blue Album
Cage The Elephant's Self-Titled Album
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Stadium Arcadium B-Sides

Black Sabbath - Black Sabbath (I bought Ozzy's book and couldn't think of a better soundtrack)

The Secret History Of Death Metal - Free With Terrorizer's Secret History of Death Metal Special. I've never really been into a lot of death metal so I decided to give it a chance and I actually quite like stuff like Master and Cannibal Corpse.

Why did you think the mulatto kid from Degrassi could rap?

He has 2 songs worth listening to afaik. I'm Goin' In and Over. Everything else I've heard is okay at best. (Best I Ever Had, for example)

I have no interest in a rapper that has nothing to say. It's all a lot of bravado... Absolutely no substance.

That and A New Era of Corruption - Whitechapel

That basically sums up the album, well that and him talking about how he's bad at relationships in a constant lackluster mixture of rapping and singing.

The whole thing sounds like he doesn't know what he's doing, yet tries way to hard to assert that he does it well. And he has way too many guests for a first LP, probably cause he knew this CD (just like his Degrassi character) can't stand on it's own. The end result is a very... very boring 13 tracks (actually 14, but I skipped track 11 cause Lil Wayne is on it) of drivel that fails to impress in the slightest.

And the worst part is: it'll sell like hotcakes cause this guy has been hyped beyond belief.

But to answer you're question of why I thought Aubrey could rap; to be honest I didn't, I figured that out when said "I'm easily influenced by the niggas I'm around". At best I was hoping there would be some worthwhile instrumentals.

It's a step in the right direction. But I was actually bored by it mostly except for like 4 songs. And the weird fail dubstep stuff was weird.
