100 push ups, are you up for it?

I tried to do my day 1 and it's good and bad news so far:

Set 1: 10 pushups - complete
Set 2: 12 pushups - complete
Set 3: 7 pushups - incomplete, made 6/7 and collapsed.
Set 4: 7 pushups - NA
Set 5: 9+ - NA

I just got back from a 5 mile hike so I guess my body is kinda tired. I'm going to eat and rest up a bit and try it again this evening.

It was a lot harder than I thought too. Here's how mine went:

Set 1: 10 pushups - Complete
Set 2: 12 pushups - Complete
Set 3: 7 pushups - Complete, found the last few pretty tough
Set 4: 7 pushups - After a 3 minute rest I got this done
Set 5: 9+ - After another 2-3 minute rest I managed to get a max of 10

I tried to follow the 60 second rest rule but I needed more after the 3rd set.

Ate my dinner, had a rest and gave it another go, was worth it.

Week one day one:

Set 1: 10 push ups - complete
Set 2: 12 push ups - complete
Set 3: 7 push ups - complete
Set 4: 7 push ups - complete - started to get shaking arms during this, only just got it.
Set 5: 9+ - push ups complete - Got to 9 but one was pretty half assed so I managed another final one at the end to hit the 9.

Arms are in bits now though, but hey, I managed to beat day one!

Had 60 seconds rest in between each of them. It was an absolute killer.

Just did mine, week 3 day one.

Set 1: 14 push ups - complete
Set 2: 18 push ups - complete
Set 3: 14 push ups - complete
Set 4: 14 push ups - complete
Set 5: 22 - push ups complete

Wrecked now.

Seeing as you only hit one over the final set I'm guessing you're finding this somewhat challenging then? (I hope so anyway or it's a waste of time).

Hat goes off to you for nailing that, did you get it in your first try?

Nothing wrong with that, to be honest I think unless you're used to these it's best starting off on week on and building up. If you're finding it too easy maybe try week 2.

Damn good try man, must of wrecked to of been 2 away from the prize though, you feeling the burn? Also Set 5 was 9, not 12.

Yeah, I felt like I'd be putting myself in at the deep end if I started too far into the programme so I started on Week 1 Day 1, too.

Set 1 - 10
Set 2 - 12
Set 3 - 7
Set 4 - 7
Set 5 - Managed 13 with a 2 minute break after Set 4.

I was definitely feeling it after the 3rd set going into the 4th (60 sec rests). I did it on my first try and plan on doing it again later tonight just for fun. At the end though I couldn't do anymore, really pushed for that 21

Set 2 - 6: Done
Set 3 - 4: Done
Set 4 - 4: Done
Set 5 - 5: Got to 7

Is it bad im exhausted?

Nope it's fantastic because it means you're most likely doing it right, grats on completing day one!
