after my psp is 3.40 OE-A the iso game what UMD cd in to play the games../
why?
my psp go like this - 3.11 > 3.50 > 1.5 > 3.40 oe-a .
does anyone have a link to download the DATA.DXAR file when i tried updating it did go into the oeupdmaker file. please help me with this thank you.
I think I need a little bit of help from people who really knows the PSP-system.
First I upgraded to fw3.5, then I downgraded to fw1.50. Everything worked fine after that.
Then I wanted to install fw3.40 oe-a, but something must have gone seriously wrong. I know I did everything in the right steps, and followed the instructions carefully. After the install of the new custom firmware, my PSP turns on, but it's all black. I can see that the backgroundlight is lit and the power is lit too. I can turn it off with the powerswitch, but I can't get into the recovery mode. Turn it on and off is all I can do.
When I put the memorycard(Max 4GB - Datel PSP HDD 001) that I used into a card reader, it can't be read. Maybe it's not compatible with PC's?
I'm not sure which motherboard I got, but it says IC6001 deep inside my UMD-bay. Looks like it's printed on the motherboard, and not just inside the UMD-bay.
Is it possible that I've got myself a brand new brick, or is it possible to do something with it?
I also have a SanDisk Memory Stick Pro Duo 512MB(MagicGate-compatible). Is it possible to get the PSP filestructure onto that card, and maybe start over again?
Hope for some good answers, and thanks in advance!!
i did all the steps, ran the thing, and i get "invalid pbp file" as it's trying to make data file
yes, it's named 150.pbp and 340.pbp
So that is normal with IC1003(TA-082)motherboard?try formatting your ms? or try a different ms?
if you are positive the files are named correctly its almost sure to be a memory stick issue.
dennis96411: nah that is normal for people with TA-080/82 motherboards.

What about the other motherboards?
What's custom topmenu?
Is it like the battery?
Cause I have a file called battery.prx and I don't know how to install it on the top menu.
I got to recovery mode and I select Plugins, but nothing in it.
How do I install the plugin?
Please help!!
I got 3.40oea installed where should i pu my iso and cso files?
Yupp, even tried for longer, with-/without UMD. Hmm..I probably just have to buy me a new one, unless it's possible to do something:crying:hm... there is a good chance that you bricked. Are you sure you're entering Recovery Mode correctly though? You need to hold R while turning on the PSP on... for about 10 seconds or so. I just usually hold it until the screen comes up.
