Counter-strike Nexon gives a huge amount of free achievements for no reason

So i booted up Counter-strike Nexon for the first time and got a huge amount of rare achievements that i see know reason why i should have got. I had never played before. Earlier this month, i booted it up again and once again, more random rare chevos. I was wondering if anyone else could boot this up to see if this is just some bug with the game, or something unique to me? If this is just a bug, its any easy 2192 exp for just launching the game.
 
This is intended. There is a in-game event tied to getting all steam achievements unlocked, and as a result, those normally unobtainable achievements were given just to ensure any player joining at any point can get 100% steam achievements.

That's what I read here, so I guess that's what happened to you. I do own this game, and I'm at 0 Achievements, but I've never launched it, never even installed it, so that makes sense.

Off-topic, but you can't use HTML in your forum signature here, use the "Insert image" button instead and paste the URL to the image.

Ok this all makes sense. Guess it now just works as a whole bunch of free achievements. Also thanks, I'll fix the signature.

That's a pretty interesting bug! Getting a bunch of rare achievements just for launching a game, especially one you've never played before, would definitely make me curious. It could be an achievement synchronization issue, a delayed update from the game servers, or some kind of bug in the achievement system.

It would be interesting to see whether other players can reproduce it on a fresh account.
