"I watched this film today and I recommend/don't recommend it."

Finally saw Transporter 3, and it was quite lame. Action and chase scenes seemed to be mediocre at best compared to the first two. Maybe I was just too tired/slow while watching to fully understand the story, but I really didn't understand it too well. The rough accents added to that because I could barely understand certain characters while they spoke a good part of the time.

Maybe I just need to see it again when I'm more alert since I seem to remember that you guys thought it was pretty good :closedeyes:

Just saw Fast and the Furious. I admit that I was scared it would turn out to be one of those bum movie remakes but damn was I surprised. It definitely lived up the first (if not second) movie.

So go see it already!

PS: it would've been better had these little middle-schoolers not sat in front and back of me and kept throwing popcorn at each other (with the occasional piece landing on me).
 
Yeah I saw Fast and the Furious yesterday. It was a good movie, I enjoyed it alot.

I got really pissed, the boys from group 1 kept shouting at the girls phrases like "go out with me!" and I kept rolling my eyes (course it was dark). The last straw was when the girls (group 2) came into my row and this jerk in back of me dumped one of those extra large barrels of popcorn onto one of the girls. I wanted to defend them, but I later found out that both groups obviously knew each other.

I was with a girl at the time, so I didn't want to bash the kids' brains out in front of her.

Anyway, I still say that it was awesome. The story was there the whole movie (half continued from the first movie [the rest was brand new]). Chase scenes were great as usual, etc etc. ;)
 
I'm glad to hear you thought it was good. I read a review from someone that had probably never seen or liked the first two and he smashed it into the ground complete with one star.

I'll still see it though :p
 
Saw Adventureland, it was good. It wasn't as funny as I thought it would be, but I would still recommend it. And also, that Twilight girl is HOT.

Just saw this movie tonight. Wasn't all that great like you said, but it was alright. I have nothing really against it, but nothing that good to say about it either.

I don't find her attractive at all. Physically or in any other way. She seems very monotone and just looks deathly ill pretty much all the time. I think it's just her complexion, but I dunno I don't find it attractive lol

Das Leben der Anderen. (The Lives of Others for those of you without a basic knowledge of German)

Recommended. This is a movie about the German Stasi secret police in East Germany during the 1980's. If you can not appreciate a true good movie, this will probably bore you to sleep. For the rest of you, the character development in this movie is outstanding. It's done so meticulously and slowly. After you finish watching the movie, you start appreciating it more so. The acting is just flawless, everything about the movie feels so real. It honestly had the best character development that I've from any movie, ever. #52 on IMDB's top 250 list, won the academy award for best foreign film in 2006. Yes, it is german, you need to watch it subbed.

Oh yea, and the music is just perfect....perfectly placed.

But only the movies that had no intention of being funny (horrible acting, cheesy dialogue, horror movies.) I don't like movies that try to be bad.
