Wait. Sony could help. Basically you just deleted your flash0 and didn't replace it with CFW or anything so you could say you were updating and say there was a powercut just after it finished formatting before the install

Negative on that.
Inappropriate use of the device voids warranty, and messing with the flash is definitaly categorized as "inappropriate use" by Sony.

CFW and/or CFWe are easy to detect, takes only a second or two, so Sony might actually look at it (automatically done by the internal service/recovering soft, maybe).

You have one of 2 choices right now...

#1. Wait for a pandora to come out. This may never happen and you must face it.

#2. Send it to sony for them to fix. You will have 1 of 3 results.

a. Sony will fix it and send you back a working PSP with 5.51 OFW or higher, depending on the service center.

b. Sony will fix it and send you back a working PSP with 5.50- OFW, again depending on the service center.

c. Sony will not fix it and send it back to you because you had CFWe on it.

Now you have 2 chances to get a working PSP out of it. Only problem is you might not be able to run homebrew on it. My opinion is that you shouldn't be running homebrew anyways if you bricked it to begin with.

Now if they decided not to fix it and sends it back, then ultimately it's your fault for using a program that Sony has not approved. As they stated using it might end up in ruining your PSP and making it non-operational. They say this because people like you exist. Deal with it.

In my experiances I have seen people send it in with CFW running on it and they bricked it. Sony took it and threw it into a bin and sent them a replacement and not the original. They never even looked at it and didn't care or think twice. Just replaced it.

I have also seen people send in fucked up PSP's as in cracked cases and such and get them back in even after they sent it in with CFW on it. So most likely they will just fix it and update it or send you a replacement. It probably depends on the quality of the PSP when you send it in...

If it's in good shape they replace it cause it takes less time.
If it's broken in any way they fix it and send it back.

No, it's not yet useless. There's another way. But that way required a full of patience and it will take more time, days, weeks, months but worst is years. Just be patience.
