Multi Modern Warfare 2

Well I won't be playing for a while, my 360 just got the RROD for the second time. I'm not sure what I'm going to do, it's out of warranty and even if I do opt to go for the official repair it's $90 and a months wait. So I might shelve out $200 for an arcade unit :(
 
You might as well do the penny trick for now since its already out of warranty.

I repaired 2 consoles a week ago doing the penny trick, and so far they all are working so far. Just put alot of thermal paste on the cpu and gpu chips.

Might as well give it a try.
 
I just played LAN for 1 day using Zero Gear Demo Patch. I didn't know steam invites is actually LAN support :| stupid me, I could of played it months ago. arghhh


I not sure I wanna shell out 220 dollars or more for each copy of the game. I wait until price drops way low or wait for a hack.

Does anybody know how to do the dictator challenge? Firing a full LMG round into your enemy without missing. Same goes for the Sniper challenge too.

Fire in short bursts for the LMG.

The sniper is too easy, didn't even mean to get it. Just use the Intervention, and make sure you hit an enemy with every bullet of the clip.

Use the AUG, it's got the smallest mag. Also learn to burst so you you can land a kill without shooting extra rounds.

I've realised I did the sniper one ages ago, pretty soon after I prestiged.
 
I've been trying to get the emblem for getting a game ending kill with a Riot Shield to no avail. Every TD I'm in and we're winning a switch to it with around 9000 points on the board.

You just need to play with a bunch of friends and ask them to allow you to get the last kill with it ;) That's the easiest way, my friends and I do that all the time if one of us needs the last kill for whatever reason.

Since I got an arcade unit yesterday I've played a few rounds and one match of SND (went 7-0). Best part was there was someone held up with a riot shield on the second story of a building and my team was just dying as they went in so I went to the opposing building and shot at him through the wall and it was the last kill :) Gotta love it when you kill them from where they least expect it
