IW apparently put in loads of effort to balance the game but when someone asked one of the dev's in a live chat why there was no lean, they answered "The game isn't balanced for lean" and thus a meme was born.

Most of the people on this game are utter douchebags. You kill one, and as soon as they respawn, they come back to the area - sneakily - and kill you. It just pisses me off, the amount of sore losers on this game.

I really haven't come across any asshole players yet. I do like the fact that you can sometimes spawn close to where you were killed and see the skull and crossbones you left. It punishes those who camp.

From what I can tell, people do a lot of camping in this game. Much moreso than CoD4.

Which is great for my run-n-gun style. I can't stand creeping around corners or peaking out of windows.
 
I wouldn't consider people killing you for killing them douche bags as much as I consider the fucking asshole prick campers douche bags. Fucking people sit in one corner of one building or wall or whatever waiting for people to literally run into their cross hairs for a free kill, so fucking annoying, especially if they have 2 people there. Wasteland is such a bad map for this. You run in the goddamn tunnel and you're dead before you even know what happened by some cunt in a spot where you can't even touch him. It's the most frustrating fucking thing in the game. /Rant

That being said though, I think the game and online is pretty fun except from those people. I like leveling up and getting all the new weapons and attachments but it sucks doing it again for a new one. It also sucks when you're a low level against level like 50s with really good guns and perks and what not but there's nothing better than getting a killstreak and becoming a helicopter gunner and destroying them.

Camping is part of the game, I do it frequently (although I move around after a kill, but still I camp in one spot (although not some lonely corner waiting for someone to come). I seek out locations where I can get a good view of where they are coming from and sit there for a bit and kill them off as they come. You'll find that your team will lose more frequently if you guys are doing all the running to the other team.

As a tip on wasteland..don't go in the tunnels, that's just asking to get killed. As far as lvl1 vs lvl50 I wouldn't go so far as to say their items are better just that they have a better lay of the land, all guns are capable of killing someone, you just need to know their limits ;)

One thing I would recommend is that if you are playing with friends co-ordinate your killstreak perks. I played a match the other night with some friends and none of them had a UAV (I was the only one on the team with a UAV) so it was more or less annoying.
 
I understand camping is part of a game to some extent but people take it way too far. I have been in games where literally the entire other team didn't move for the entire match, even after they died they went right back to their little corner or window. It's stupid because when everyone is doing that no one is dying, and games that last 10 minutes long and end with both teams only having around 2000 points, it gets to a point where it's a little ridiculous.
 
I camp when I need the get x amount of prone shots, and shit like that. But other then that I hate it, and it's boring as fuck. Sure you're dying less, but you can't possibly be haveing fun doing that.

This is why I rather have DS and mods. some mods got anti-camp mode that forces them to move.

Camping is part of the game, so they are playing it.
Trust me, I don't like campers and I know people who get pissed when they die from a camper... its just a game btw.
But with my style of play, guns blazing basically campers help me on both sides. On my sides they can provide cover, and on the opposition, I just sneak around them and kill them or once I know where they were hiding, I can easily pick them off and move on.
 
Camping with a sniper, camping looking out a window with any gun is different then hiding in a corner waiting for people to run by. That is what pisses me off.

Off-topic: What did the update for PS3 do?

Of course its unbalanced, the guy is using cheats.
Anyone would rather play a game with no cheats in multiplayer.

Anyways, just beat the campaign on Veteran and completed almost every spec ops mission solo.
I just got the last 3 left but man those are HARD. The last one it says it might not even be possible :o

It's a reference to what Mackay McCandlish, one of IW's dev's, said about lean being removed from the PC version of the game.

In my own way it's a small attack at how IW are trying to force players to play the game as they want us to play it while trying to make some people laugh at the absurdity of some of the stuff in the PC version.
