Yeah, I was always stressed when I played it on the original MW so I've been hesitant to give it a shot this time around but since you have said this twice already I think I will try it later tonight :p
 
I was playing all morning long. Must have played about 9 matches in a row where not one person dropped out. Everyone had a mic and was communicating, so much fun.

There seem to be less dickheads in hardcore.

I too didn't really like harcore in MW and thought it took less skill, so haven't tried in MW2. I will be sure to later, Frozen and TO say when you're going on and I'll join?
 
Hardcore is lots of fun if you enjoy camping and sitting in one spot for the entire game and just can't get enough of it in regular.

True story.

Yeah, at least back in the Goldeneye/Perfect Dark days we could give the person who did this a thump. Dam modern online gaming.
 
Or look at their screen and run right to them.

Yeah I just played a few rounds of it and must say it was interesting. Everyone uses cold blooded and ninja which really makes it difficult to locate them and for any killstreaks but I still managed to maintain my same k/d throughout. Claymores really work well in it (just put scavenger on). I love it when people try to go back to their hiding spots and they find a claymore there waiting for them :)

All my killstreaks are pretty much useless now, I got a chopper gunner and only managed to get 3 kills with it (and my harrier was completely useless). Definitely is "hardcore" mode :)

Search and destory is lame, only having one life per round FTL.

I love search and destroy. I don't die alot in search so I don't have to wait alot.

I prefer having one life also, makes the game more suspenseful. To each his own I guess.

Yeah hardcore has less dickheads indeed. I find far more better skilled players in hardcore then regular which makes the game more competitive for me.
