Nintendo Switch playtime tracking

Hi, I have the same issue as @fromthesnow but for another physical release: "Murder By Numbers". It is my last played game on my Nintendo profile with 15+ hours as of today, but it doesn't show on my exophase profile even after resync. I guess that is because the physical release is quite rare (2000 copies limited edition).

Thanks in advance!

I've added this one to the database now.

Would it be possible to pull the playtime for Nintendo games from the Nintendo Store app? Asking because in addition to Switch & Switch 2, it includes 3DS & Wii U. Also seems to be more accurate than pulling from the Switch/Switch 2 Activity Log.

Not possible for now. That data is only accessible to the user that is logged in, we don't collect any login data and just ask for the user's friend code.

I've seen no evidence for it so far, but if they ever change the activity log on Switch itself to include data from other systems then that could open the possibility.

Would it be possible for you to collect login data though? That way, we could enter our log in information from the Nintendo Store app on Exophase and maybe it could pull from there.

I've gone some research on this as I've added this data on other sites.
  • The 3DS and Wii U data collection stopped some time in 2020, which means limited functionality is possible, and no actual "tracking" can be provided. (Only historical data can be collected.)
  • Switch/Switch 2 - The data presented is limited to hour increments for total time, and 15 minutes increments per day. It does track almost every game Switch game.
The Friend code option seems the most accurate Switch/Switch 2 information we can get as it's down to the minute, but is limited to most recent 20 games, and how often it updates/scraped. The Parental Controls is great for tracking individual days, but that's limited to 5 minutes increments, and also limited to a about 6 months before the data is gone, assuming you had Parental Controls on.
