[RELEASE] 5.03 TIFF Hello World

so did i make a mistake by updating my psp to ofw 5.03 to get the tiff to work, because it was at 4.01 and i must have tried 50 times to no success and on my first try at 5.03 it worked!

I have to tell..... only time will say if what you did was wrong or right :blush:

Be patient. All of this is being done for free and for others people benefits. Setting or trying to set deadlines for them doesn't help at all.

Probably a stupid question, hasn't everyone with an older PSP like the Phat's and early slims already have modding solutions? Why are Phat users and such interested in this at all? I owned an original 1001 but sold it soon after I got it, now, a few years later, just bought a 3000 and am excited to mod it. I havent modded a gaming system since the original xbox.

Yes but each system that is developed has tougher and tougher security.Old solutions will not be as effective.

The reason why this is so interesting is because sometimes you have to look at older things to learn how to hack new things. Older exploits that may not have been patched and such.

Resetting settings back to default seems to increase the chances of it working. I couldn't get it to work initially either, but after doing that, it always works after around 5 tries now.

Still no dice for me, very odd.
