Thanks for the exploit. You guys are doing great lately with PSP exploits. Hope this one leads to less arguments and more PSP-3000 'awesomeness' perhaps. Hope this gets a bit more stable too. :w00t:
 
I still don't got it to work on my PSP slim TA-088v3 with OFW 5.02

I put the slim picture in the PICTURE folder , and the h.bin file just in the root of my memory stick ..
Then , whenever I go to pictures > memory stick it freeses (without even clicking the tif file , my screen freezes and after about 10 seconds my PSP goes out ..

Perhaps I'm doing something wrong , but are you sure the file works?

Just keep trying ... :)
 
1) Put "original theme", then turn off (completely) and turn on
2) Then go into photo menu --> MMS and faster select the poc.tiff into the menu
3) Then wait and it will load :)

Retry this thing until it loads. I've tryed it on 5.03 but i think that's the same also on 5.02.

After how many tries did it work with you? I tried 15 times and the only thing that happens = my screen freeses and after 10 seconds it turns of ...

Roor of memory stick = on your memory stick in no folder ah?

You mentioned "faster". Is it really matter how quick you get it done?
Coz I've tried 100+ and I still get nothing.:(

There's no release for the psp3000 yet.
only 1000 and 2000..
but it seems that the exploit for the 2000 is more unstable than the phat release because it seems no one has done it correctly.. except for matiaz i guess.
 
I just want to know if this works on Ta-088v3 , so if it doens't , I don't have to try all day :p

So can MaTiAz/anyone that knows this reply to this?

Does it work on ta88v3

Thanks MaTiAz and Everyone involved! I find it works best on my psp with a ptf theme set and with the tiff moved into a newfolder in photo; Plus it seems like it launches the h.bin when the image thumbnail preloads...and going into the newfolder or trying to directly view the image never works; so if it doesn't launch upon pressing x on the memorystick under photo, reboot and keep trying
