Its my personal opinion that Playstation has the best Achievement tracking system with its trophies. I say this because:
(a) it allows you to separate multiplayer trophies or DLC trophies from the single player game so when servers are shut down, people can still get all the achievements
(b) trophy rarity indicates effort to get the trophy
There have been multiple instances where achievements added from DLCs have killed my drive to get achievements.
1) Deus Ex Mankind Divided where they added a horrible grindy online thing called Breach and added achievements for it
2) I got all the achievements for Cyberpunk 2077 before they released Phantom Liberty. When the expansion came out, I could no longer say I 100% completed the game.
I would like to suggest a feature for Exophase to implement. Achievements from Steam and Xbox are to be cross checked against Playstation's trophy list and given the same trophy rarities accordingly as well as create "pseudo-platinums" to indicate completion. That way when a game on Steam or Xbox has a DLC or big update come out, as long as you have gotten all the base game achievements, you can still claim on this site that you have 100% it. If a game doesn't have a Playstation counterpart, it will use the % of people who have the achievement to dictate achievement rarity. Instead of adding all the achievements into one number to be displayed on our profile, it will show how many bronze, silver, gold, and plat/pseudo plats we have. You don't have to force this onto everyone. You can add it as an option in preferences.
