Tiff Exploit - HEN Information

Did you create the photo folder on your own (some people had to)? If you did make sure it's all caps lock. That's pretty much all I can think of. Also make sure the usb wasn't in the psp and there was no UMD inside or anything for those who can't get it to work.
 
You could try putting 7 copies of the SAME picture plus the slim/phat .tiff file. Turn off PSP completely by holding the power switch 'til it turns off. Then turn it back on, goto pictures then scroll right down to the bottom as fast as you can.

Well you got it to work once so that's a good sign. I guess just keep doing it. At first it worked every so often for me but the more I did it the easier it got and now it pretty much always comes. Keep at it.

Thanks i've never been able to get the tiff exploit or hen working, but changing the character set got it too work straight away! Thanks too you and obviously davee who made it : P * oh and for imformations sake i have a japanese psp-3000 Pearl white and it was set on default JIS Character set and it never worked before*
 
Well I have a PSP 3001 if that matters and it works 99% of the time. I know someone who has a 3004 I believe and he says it works the same amount as well. Who knows though, this is the type of thing that easily varies. Stability will definitely improve, I doubt Davee is the kind to give up on his own stuff.

try system restore.. it would work after 100% :)
 
Psp3k

Well, for psp 3K.
Following this steps, i researched, boots the hen a 100% times.


1.-Put a wallpaper (custom wallpaper)
2.-Remove all images on the PSP/PHOTO folder and PICTURE folder.
3.-Copy the folder ChickHEN to PSP/PHOTO folder.
4.-Restart PSP
5.-Go to Pictures, open ChickHEN folder. TADA!!
6.-Green Screen.

Edit1: OH.. i forgot. All this with an UMD inside the PSP xP

It works for me a 100% times on a 3001.

me too, haha. it froze the first time i tried it, and then it worked the 2nd 3rd.....and hasnt failed yet. ive done it about 30 times now

i got super bored, so i decided to try and see what would happen if i loaded my pictures in the HEN already enabled.and it didnt load the chickHEN folder of pictures so Davee is smart. he will fix this
