And i have just a 2 GB MS from SONY. Is it ok to get a micro sd adapter and put in around 8 GB?
 
i tired all the instuctions perfectly, but irshell is nto running, isnt it only designed for m33 custom fw? or am i wrong and can it actually work on the chickHEN

FAKE Sony have easily identifiable FALSE Sony part numbers with extra letter T and also mixed/incorrect UPC Part Number on the retail paper insert.

16GB (OEM ?)
Newer FAKE may have correct Sony Part Number but the UPC Part Number may still be incorrect on the retail insert! Fake has none of the Operating Instructions sheet(s) and none of the separate Sony Warranty sheet.

Clue #2 For PSP Owners: MagicGate Unknown and Incorrect User Capacity

In your PSP Menu screen, go to Memory Stick, press the Triangle button, then select Information. Genuine SONY will display as MagicGate Supported. If you see Unknown or Unsupported then you know you have a FAKE Sony!
Genuine Memory Stick displays User Capacity: 8GB as 7687MB or 7763MB; 4GB as 3839MB; 2GB as 1909MB or 1910MB; 1GB as 956MB.
Fake Memory Sticks displays User Capacity: 8GB as 7727MB or 7839MB; 4GB as 3876MB; 2GB as 1937MB or 1949MB or 1956MB or 1959MB; 1GB as 969MB of memory space when being tested.
Most fakes have HALF or less than half of the usable capacity from the stated capacity. The only bullet-proof way to find out its real capacity is to try transferring as much data as possible to your card and then READ BACK data from the card to see if it will actually hold close to the stated capacity with no sign of missing files or data corruption.
Genuine card has high transfer speed at about 80Mbps while Fake has painfully much slower transfer speed.

well/ my memory stick does not support magicgate, but that is because it is a photofaast cr 5400. everything from psstore works though. i was so happy when hen launched, i thought it wouldn't work
 
okay, just need a little help, on a homebrew named guitar star, i dloaded frets on fire files for new songs and some of them doesn't have notes. does this have anything to do with the HEN or is it due to the guitar star? i'm sure the person who uploaded the songs is credible and the files are not corrupted.

you tryed? because it dont work for me but others do. I cant see it being HEN bug
 
I opened the h.bin and i was looking the code. And I saw very much numbers (hexadecimals) but at the last there were a view things:

Error: Could not start game_install_plugin.prx. Error: Could not initialize exploit. ms0:/egghunt.bin Error: Couldn't create egghunt.bin.
What does this mean?:confused:
 
What is egghunt.bin exactly ?
And what does it do ?
 
Im not exactly sure what egghunt .bin does either but I may mess around with it later and see how it affects the PSP.

Before you guys start flamming him, maybe you should ask the question first "What HEN does he mean?".

Older HENS can run ISOS so you should not just call him a liar until you get the facts straight.
