agentnnc...pops is the PSX emulator on the PSP. Unless you're coding a replacement yourself in secret you're incorrect in your assessment. FFVII is a PSX game and thus not playable via the HEN as pops will not be supported.

The facts remain static...the HEN itself cannot brick your PSP as it doesn't write to flash. Why not go read up on what these terms actually mean rather than hang on every post in this topic?

Corrupting flash0(or all the other flashes for that matter) and the registry are pretty much the only way you're going to brick.

I can't stop wondering something : how is it possible for Davee + team to build a HEN so quick after the eggsploit has been found?
I mean, the team that worked on the HEN based on the Gripshift exploit took months and didn't have time to finish the HEN before the eggsploit was found.

Isn't there something strange?

You see, the team, that found the Gripshift exploit didn't intend to release that hen at all ))

Who's to say they just found it? Remember, when they release a project usually it has been in development for a while.

Posting a link to a fake download link and claiming it is the to be released HEN is unacceptable. It only causes confusion, and breaks false hopes. I have deleted all posts concerning it.

Please use your head next time :) I would like to encourage the discussion of the topic at hand. Posting fake download links adds nothing to the discussion, and only causes problems.
 
Does anyone know if the HEN will be as unstable as the tiff exploit?

From what I've learnt in the past 48 hours I'm guessing it's the tiff exploit with some new features right?
 
So guys... I'm a new member of this forum and I bet that you already talk about this but... anyway...
Davee found a exploit (.tiff one) that works in every PSP (1k ~ 3k), a HEN would be created until today that will not support ISOs (still ok)! That HEN will be released here at the forum or in other site? I don't know where to find... I just wanna know if I'm in the right place! Thank you! And good luck to the HEN crew!
 
i heard that it was going to be released in the team typhoon website.. but the problem is that i dont know what the website is... does anyone know?

matiaz found the tiff exploit and it will probably be all over the boards when it's released.
