It's up to you. The 3000 may never be able to truly run custom firmware due to restrictions in the pre-IPL.

If you're buying a PSP specifically for homebrew, I would recommend going for a 2000 unit. They are still readily available.
 
Is Davee and her/his panters still working in the hen?~ whether or not,i want to thank for what they have done on hacking 3000 ,in my inmost heart.

Just a few questions!
This tiff exploit found by Matiaz is like a window opened at the PSP system right?
Others psp developers like Dark Alex group can take an advantage about this and start working in that exploit too? Davee is against the piracy, but others like DA themselves aren t and soon problably will release something too! I can tell you that the Dark Alex crew are very busy since that exploit was found! I read every day the blog and the posts are, since tiff, fewer and fewer! Anyway... it's just an idea!

Seriously... I wish good luck for him and the crew at the decision to release the HEN and when... he knows what he s doing!
For those who are waiting for an update to the TIFF exploit, calm down!
 
Ugh, I suspect I may have a part in the delay of Davee's release. If not then he's still hard at work testing and debugging. Just rest assured that it will be released at some point.
 
Could be numerous factors. The fact that I had an assignment to finish yesterday to prevent myself being thrown out of school didn't help things :p
 
Oic.. That's a little bit disappointing, well its better to be delayed than it will not be released at all.

It's a bad idea for setting an exact date after all.
 
Delayed again!!, i agree it was a bad a idea to set dates as they are not always 100% true and it kills peoples if the release date is not met
 
Guess your right, hacking a psp is hard work for them devs and they are doing it for free, so we should give them the time to perform these miracles for us hombrew users.
 
Hey dudes, at the beginning the exploit was not attended to work on PSP 3000. So maybe the HEN is simply harder to program for compatibility on PSP 3000.
I bought my PSP a bit more than a month only, but some of you have been waiting months for a HEN... so few days more is not a big deal and stop complaining!

Davee is 15 and his homework and exams are much more important than a HEN, stop being selfish!
 
why davee hate the isoloaders? maybe he cant develop 1? i think that an HAN without aisloader is a bit unuseful...he have 2 think 2 all peaple that have their bakup copies of their UMD...and not all the pirates that download it...u.u...anyway nothing yet?

That has been covered long time ago. It is his app to do what he wants with.

Its focus is homebrew and not ISO's in whatever format. Legal or not.

If he can dev a exploit like this, a ISO loader would be compartively easy i would think.

You could always dev your own ISO loader for it, if you can....................
 
if davee or other dev make iso loader pepole donate project and respect
davee dont like piracy but helping other devs to make it
