What Albums Did You Listen To Today?

A Hangover You Don't Deserve - Bowling For Soup. I used to love it, a long time ago, and I got a craving for some pop-punk the other day.

Master Of Reality - Black Sabbath. I'm just an massive Sabbath fan boy, okay?

Thank Me Later - Drake
Further - The Chemical Brothers
Heartbeats - GRUM
Black Parade - My Chemical Romance

Thank Me Later was average. I liked Further overall but hated the first track on it and loved Heartbeats. Thought I'd experiment a bit and tried The Black Parade which I surprisingly liked.

Also took one of Joey's recommendations and listened to Fallen House Sunken City which was pretty good.

I've always liked The Black Parade. The whole album's really catchy, and I really like the metal-pop style it has. It's similar to Maximum the Hormone, a Japanese band, but they infuse more metal.

Boys Noize - Kontact Me Remixes
Minnutes - Pretty Boy

Eminem - Recovery

Pretty good album. Only has a 1 or 2 tracks I didn't fully enjoy, otherwise it was great.

...And Justice For All - Metallica. The heaviest and most technical of all Metallica albums. I'm pretty annoyed they went a bit lighter with The Black Album, but that's a classic as well.

Holy shit, Eminem's new album is actually... Kinda good O_o... I wish he'd be more visceral with his lyrics, but at least he fixed his delivery, and his shit isn't corny. Well done Mr. Mathers.

I like the second track. It's awesome.

Eminem - Recovery

Did a quick skim through it when it first got leaked, liked about 2 songs.
Then I started really listening to the whole album and I like every song on it.

Em is back. I like how he acknowledges his last album sucked and he doesn't want to reproduce something like that again.

Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle, Mike Patton's weirdest music project he's ever done. Hands down. But I still love it.

Thursday - Common Existence, still love this record. So intense.

Deftones - Diamond Eyes, AOTY contender.

And lastly: Nachtmystium - Assasins: Black Meddle Part 1. Can't wait for Part 2. Weirdest fucking black metal every conceived. I swear. It's hard to even call it a black metal album. It's just weird O_O

The Beatles - The Beatles (AKA The White Album) Picked up an original vinyl copy and it sounds crystal clear.Absolutely amazing stuff.

Black Sabbath - Never Say Die! Not as good as the older stuff, or any of the stuff with Dio that followed it, but it's still a very listenable album with some catchy tunes. More straight forward rock than the older Doom/Sludge that Sabbath earlier albums consisted of.

Last few days I've been listening to Take Your Place by General Rudie, they're a ska band from Montreal, although this is their final album, it's full of really good music. For anyone that enjoys ska, I really recommend you give them a try. They have quite a few songs you can listen to on their website.

Also, a fun fact: The singer/saxophonist was my grade 10(year 10 for the English users here) Science teacher.

Master Of Reality - Black Sabbath - My new favourite album of all time, absolutely amazing. Not a single flaw with anything on the album.

Witchfinder General - Death penalty - Classic Doom.
