I know you your from pspis*.comHa. Good luck with that. I don't think anyone bought it just to spread it on the net (unless you're known, and/or helped the scene in the past and present)

They most likely figured out how to completely dump the pre-IPL through hardware means, which after further research allowed them to forge Sony's encryption signature. You may remember "brokencodes" who put a great deal of research into this.
@Bubbletune
How would having reversed KIRK lead to being able to sign executables? I was under the impression the PSP used some sort of private/public key system.
oh how lame:argh: they should have used at least another "kirk decryptor engine" web page. are they taunting the psp scene? now they should pay back the psp scene by signing our homebrewsThat page is from YAPSPD by Groepaz here as was mentioned in above post.
That pic also shows a Tab browsing Maxconsole website if you look closely.
And of course they used the scene's information, they even used the pspsdk and toolchain (but still don't credit them).
That is what I mean. They could not get the old one to work even tho they had every thing they needed and like you said (and I know because I own one) it was not tied to any PSP either.. So if you can not get some thing to work that was easier to do, then the new one is going to be even hard to do or to a point not worth the time..

Datel Advanced Gaming Technology
wow watch the video here. they all have the cutting edge state of the art equipments there as well as cryptographic engineers. their equipments makes me salivate, and they have reverse engineering department so they are really capable.
is breaking through $ony's protection legal(i know psp scene has been decrypting prx and such but never got a word from $ony)? how far could they go? i read somewhere that cracking a crypto engine is a gray area. im not familiar with the laws of each country.
now where is my God of War cheats?:blush:![]()
Indeed... They may used community's knowledge for the beginning, but what they did on their own should be like 70% of the job. That's why you can't really blame them, i think. They may have used the scenes tools but dont be mistaken in thinking what they did was easy :|

if they are that good then they should not borrow anything from the psp scene. but i do agree it still a difficult feat.
Why shouldnt they use pre-existing information to make their job quicker and easier?
That's like builiding a table without referring to a manual intentionally... it's stupid.
yep, i agree. i came from msdn where they freely share code. they always tell us not to reinvent the wheel. i wonder what's this psp devs stealing the work of this psp devs dramas of the past then. oh well better not mess with something i know little about then ![]()
I don't think you get it.The only problem is, that if Datel borrow code from Homebrewers, then I would assume that they want to tirn a profit, so it would break the copyright on that piece of code.
I Datel released it for free or paid the coder to use it, it would al be fine.
If the utilities were found on a website somewhere, that they shouldn't have access to, and released without permission by [STRIKE]freeplay[/STRIKE] Datel, that'd be a problem.
It's a PoC, it boots but won't load cheats.
